The component is part of small-scale, machine and instrument, itself usual is composed of several members, and can be used in the same series products; we general refers to electrical, radio, meter and some parts of the industry etc. Certainly component is divided to passive component and active component. The passive component has two basic features: 1)itself or consume the electricity, or take the electricity transform a different energy. 2) just need to input signal, it works without need to external power source. The active component has also two basic features: 1) itself can also consume the electricity. 2) except input signal, if you want to works and have to external power source.
Follow the product
The passive component has resistor, resistor network, capacitor, inductor, tansformer, relay, key, speaker, switch, connector, socket, line, pcb and so on. Passive components are primarily resistance class inductor class, and capacitor element. The active component has Diode, Light-emitting diodes, thyristors, Transistor, IC, operation amplifier, comparator, flip－flop, counter, digital signal processor, dsp and so on.
Follow the functions
The passive components effect can be summed up that to connect the optical waveguide or optical path; control light propagation direction; to control the distribution of optical power; control between optical waveguide between the device and the optical coupling between the waveguide and the device; combined wave and the partial wave and so on.
